An alkaline storage battery in which the positive active material is mainly made of nickel and the negative active material is mainly made of cadmium.
The nickel-cadmium battery used in the AGV car has a large internal resistance and can be discharged with a large current, and the voltage change is small during discharge. Compared with other types of batteries, nickel-cadmium batteries can withstand overcharge or discharge, and the operation is simple and convenient. The discharge voltage is somewhat different according to its discharge current. Generally speaking, the discharge termination voltage of the nickel-cadmium battery is about 1.2V. The discharge termination voltage is 1.0V/CELL. More than 500 times of charge and discharge.
2. Ni-MH battery
An alkaline storage battery in which the positive active material is mainly made of nickel, and the negative active material is mainly made of hydrogen storage alloy.
Nickel-metal hydride batteries are improved from nickel-cadmium batteries, which provide higher capacity, less obvious memory effect, and lower environmental pollution than nickel-cadmium batteries at the same price. It can be charged quickly in one hour with a special charger, and its self-discharge characteristics are better than that of nickel-cadmium batteries.
3. Lithium battery
"Lithium battery" is a type of battery that uses lithium metal or lithium alloy as the negative electrode material and uses a non-aqueous electrolyte solution.
It has high energy density. Compared with high-capacity nickel-cadmium batteries, the energy density is twice as high. High voltage, the average operating voltage is 3.6V, which is 3 times that of nickel-cadmium batteries and nickel-hydrogen batteries. The use voltage is flat and high capacity, the wide range of use temperature is -20 degrees -60 degrees, and the charge and discharge life is long. After 500 discharges, its capacity is at least 70% above. Because lithium batteries have the characteristics of high energy density, high voltage, and stable operation, they are widely used.
4. Lead-acid battery
The electrodes are mainly made of lead and its oxides, and the electrolyte is a battery of sulfuric acid solution.
AGV lead-acid battery is one of the most widely used batteries. Lead-acid batteries have the advantages of good reversibility, stable voltage characteristics, long service life, wide application range, abundant raw materials, renewable use and low cost.
